Hello from Kenya

Carol Leeper wrote:

Hi Phil,
I am in Kenya visiting my daughter Donna who also took a class with you at Michaels
in Levittown.  As I walk through their home I wanted you to know they have 5 or 6
paintings hanging on their walls  I did in your classes over the years.  So Artist Phil you are well represented
in Africa!

It was great hearing from Carol and warms my heart that she remembers me and our classes. If I knew teaching art, even in Craft Stores, was so fulfilling. I would have considered this vocation in my youth.

1950 Studebaker close encounter

1950 Studabaker was a really cool car in the mid 50's. It resembled a jet with it's pointed grill.

My brother Chuck once had a brush with this Studebaker. My mother sent him to the grocery store. Chuck wasn't looking when crossing the street and got tapped. Chuck was lucky,  I could not imagine getting hit with the pointed grill. The releaved driver of the Studabaker drove him home unharmed. Mom never asked him to go to the store for a long time.
This is a 6x6 oil Painting on Ampersand Gesso Bord and being autioned on Ebay for a starting bid of $49.00 Check out the Auction

My First Car was a 1960 Austin Healy Sprite.

My first car was a 1960 Austin Healy Sprite. I had just turned sixteen. First, I have to say I really had great parents. My dad always bought convertibles until the eighties. My brother and I were a bit spoiled by our parents. My brother and I shared this car and I can only remember a few arguments on who gets the Sprite for the night. It usually had to do with either a girl or a great night to just cruise. So many memories I had to paint it. This one is not for sale or auction, but goes down in the stone tablets of my youth.

My daily Painting a French Hight Heel Platform Shoe

A friend of my wife, her name is Cheryl, emailed this photo of a high heel shoe. One shoe, and got my attention as a unique subject.
Cheryl is opening a Clothing Store, if I recieve no bids on this art, I'm thinking a good Grand Opening Present. If someone wins this shoe, Don't tell Cheryl.

Daily painting today is "Citrus Trio".

Today's daily painting titled, "Citrus Trio".

My wife Kathy was slicing lemons and limes for some warm weather drinks and sandwiches. Originally the plate had a tomato that looked out of place. So I changed it to an orange and called it, "Citrus Trio". I have listed this painting on Ebay with a starting bid of $49. BID NOW

As if They Are Gazing at the Moon

As if the are Gazing at Moon, daily painting being auctioned on Ebay, starting bid $39.00 Bid Now
As I finished this Daily Painting, the cherries seemed as if they were gazing at the orange slice much like lovers gazing at the moon. I though of making them touch and connecting the stems. Nah, just two cherries and an orange slice.

Surrounded by Oranges, my daily painting and being sold on, Click HereEbay.

Tired today after my class in Royersford, Pa.
Nice people, and a lot of talent. Annette did not know she could paint. I was surprised how fast she took to oil painting. I think I mentored a beggining artist. Love my Job.
