My first car was a 1960 Austin Healy Sprite. I had just turned sixteen. First, I have to say I really had great parents. My dad always bought convertibles until the eighties. My brother and I were a bit spoiled by our parents. My brother and I shared this car and I can only remember a few arguments on who gets the Sprite for the night. It usually had to do with either a girl or a great night to just cruise. So many memories I had to paint it. This one is not for sale or auction, but goes down in the stone tablets of my youth.
My name is Phillip Krivenko and I love to paint and teach art.. I am slowly migrating to a stand-alone blog with my own URL. Please revisit me at: http://www.dailypainterblog.com

My daily Painting a French Hight Heel Platform Shoe
A friend of my wife, her name is Cheryl, emailed this photo of a high heel shoe. One shoe, and got my attention as a unique subject.
Cheryl is opening a Clothing Store, if I recieve no bids on this art, I'm thinking a good Grand Opening Present. If someone wins this shoe, Don't tell Cheryl.

Daily painting today is "Citrus Trio".
Today's daily painting titled, "Citrus Trio".
My wife Kathy was slicing lemons and limes for some warm weather drinks and sandwiches. Originally the plate had a tomato that looked out of place. So I changed it to an orange and called it, "Citrus Trio". I have listed this painting on Ebay with a starting bid of $49. BID NOW

As if They Are Gazing at the Moon
As I finished this Daily Painting, the cherries seemed as if they were gazing at the orange slice much like lovers gazing at the moon. I though of making them touch and connecting the stems. Nah, just two cherries and an orange slice.

Surrounded by Oranges is my Daily Painting
Tired today after my class in Royersford, Pa.
Nice people, and a lot of talent. Annette did not know she could paint. I was surprised how fast she took to oil painting. I think I mentored a beggining artist. Love my Job.

Posted Bo's Fish Wagon on Fresh Painters Website. Feeling the pressure of doing a daily painting
I did this painting in Key West a few years ago. Ran out of paintings to post but I know some artist make a few in a week and post them periodically. So I guess I'm still legit.
Just finished two paintings with orange slices. I will be posting them tomorrow and Saturday after my class in Royersford, Pa.

Koi
On my iphone I have as app that is a digital Koi pond. you tap the class, get ripples, and the Koi run off the screen unitil the water calms.
On the Fresh Painters website, (i'm an associate member) Nancy Everett did a painting of a Koi. I liked it so much I took a screen shot of my Koi app and did a daily painting, Simply called Koi.

Today's Daily Painting, "Afternoon Shade"
Spring is coming and I came up with this out of my head. Was not that hard to visualize, a tree and a flowered path.
The Sky a bit too blue, but I like the feel. Oil on canvas board 11x14.

Camphill Plein Air Festival this summer
Mary Ann attended my class in Mechanicsburg this Monday. We became facebook friends yesterday and today she reminded me of the Camphill, Pa Plien Air Festival. It runs in early June, too late for the entry deadline, but will definitely be there this summer.http://www.facebook.com/pages/Plein-Air-for-Camphill/130988316937820
